A trial flight consists of:
 Pre flight briefing-You will be talked through the controls and their effects in flight and the techniques of flying will be explained for you so you get the most from your flight.
The Flight- Usually we fly the North Norfolk countryside during the trial flight making our way out to the Norfolk coastline. Your instructor will demonstrate to you each control and then allow you to practice the thrill of flying turns, descents, climbs- and of course, straight & level!
Then it's back to the airfield to experience the thrill of hovering. Again your instructor will demonstrate the effect of each control and their purpose before handing each control to you one at a time. Then at the end you will take all the controls to see what hovering is all about.
Postflight briefing- Once back at the hangar, it's an opportunity to have photographs taken and then a short debrief on how you faired on your first helicopter flight.
